Just a Little Prick This book by Peter and Hilary Butler discusses vaccinations for your child, just how safe it may not be, and the way in which society is pressuring the individual parent to accept vaccines from pharma no matter what their personal misgivings. The case in Texas where vaccines are being mandated for all girls at the sixth grade level, for a disease that is caught based upon behaviour, is a case in point. Naturally such discussion happens in a society where people are told they have rights to refusal. But this right to refusal is growing smaller. For the Akha there has never been much right of refusal, mothers being told they will not get an ID card for their baby if they do not accept vaccines for themselves such as the Tetanus Toxoid. Only problem is, that if the baby is dead, it won't get an ID card either.
