The truck doubles as a billboard to get an important point across. The signs occasionally changing. After years of modifications the truck is hardened up for the toughest combinations of duty. From 140 kph on the superhighway to crawling up the steepest rutted roads in a monsoon rain, the truck pulls a continual variation of duty. Chains, hoes, shovels, buckets, medicine, books, ropes, saws, camera equipment, cans of milk, gps, telephone and spare parts, the vehicle is ready for about anything. Powered by a 3,000 turbo Toyota diesel, the truck often helps other people recover their vehicles after having come to the party a little bit less prepared. Donations keep the truck in fuel. No one rides for free. A quick eye and ear help with constant maintenance so that it is always ready when needed, traveling village roads without end. Your donation keeps the truck in fuel, oil changes, filters, tires and welding repairs. Our work is "results based activism" and we respond rapidly to village problems, from Chiangmai's remote mountains to areas along the Burmese border.
