We consider Dapa not an NGO but a Christian mission started by Paul Lewis, funded by churches and other missions and ALWAYS working for the complete subjugation and destruction of Akha culture, language and identity.

The director of Dapa is Yot. He is married to a Thai and admits no value to Akha culture, further as director he takes no action to protect Akha culture while citing it as "important". Dapa also runs Dapa Tours, which once again confuses the issue, pretending to care about the culture that they are committed to destroying. Even missionaries live in Yot's parents house in Doi Chang, placed there by himself and his brother, Ajay.
