This mission works with some very poor Akha villages up towards Phrae. In one village so poor it did not even have water, the priest wanted to build a church. The area is mostly lava rock and there is not sufficient farming fields. The villagers would profit from moving back to a mountainous area of Chiangrai. Unfortunately the priest will not assit them in this.
