Paul and Lori Vernon work in connection to the Akha Outreach Foundation which is run by Ajay, an Akha missionary supported by American church donations. Ajay has been repeated involved in the destruction of Akha culture in villages, removal of Akha children from their culture and families, as well as demanding that children who come to his school, convert to christianity.
