Medical Supplies Needed

We are always in need of the following kinds of basic medicines:

All of the following are needed in large quantities:

  • Multi-Vitamins
  • Benz benzoate oil, 100%
  • Clotrimazole fungus cream
  • Anti-bacterial cream
  • Anti-bacterial powder
  • Head lice medication
  • Eye and Ear antibiotic drops
  • Sterile Eye Fluid Replacement Drops
  • Bandaids
  • Disinfectant
  • Gauze pads
  • Surgical tape
  • Surgical gloves
  • Ear q-tips
(Clinic packs, such as those provided by NorthWest Medical Teams in Portland, Oregon, contain much of these needed supplies along the hand disposable items. Those packs have had to be bought in the past from them, and shipping expense must be covered, but they packs contain a lot and are very tightly packed together for minimum bulk. Much of the work here is just huge quantities of the most basic first aid.

There are also a number of plastic surgery reconstructive projects usually involving the hand damaged by burns.

We are also in need of a volunteer doctor who can help us set up a care center for the first time.

For this we will need medical equipment such as an autoclave, trays, table, lights, hand instruments.
