Man Prefers Drawing Birds

Ah Baw Pooh's Art

Summary: Ah Baw Pooh is an Akha man in Pah Nmm Akha village, Ampur Mae Faluang, Chiangrai. He enjoys drawing where ever he is and prefers to draw birds.

Story: Ah Baw Pooh's bird drawings can be seen in occasional huts, places where he visits and picks up a piece of paper, leaving pictures of birds of various sorts.

Pen or pencil, from large to very small images, Ah Baw Pooh's pictures and style are well known in the village.

Perching birds, as often seen in the fields and forest.

Sometimes lacking paper, a small picture is drawn in the margin of a book.
