About Us June 30, 2011 Who we are and what we do: This website is solely maintained by Matthew McDaniel, the Director of the Akha Heritage Foundation. The work of the Akha Heritage Foundation is supported by donors and volunteers who come and go with time and by quite a few "spectators" who drop in with a note, a tip, a document or a comment on the site or the work. This website has been up non stop since the mid 1990's. It was originally up under a different title. One of the things we really find helpful is when people research and donate pdf files to this site that they have found on the web.
